I need help with coming to Bangkok next month with my friends. I dont know if we should get a tour guide to see all the museums and temples or doing by ourselves. If we get a tour guide, how much should we expect to pay so we dont get taken advantaged of. Thank you in advance for your help. Mitchell

Most of the guide tour it's start from 1,500 Baht/trip (private car)

I know it's cheap for you but ...

1. if you take the taxi just only 500.-/round trip

++ Get down if the taxi driver didn't press the meter or says no meter or asked more money from you

the meter taxi charge from 35 baht.

2. If you take the public bus it's around 50/baht/round trip (air cond bus)

it depend on where u stay...

if u stay near the bus way number 1, 2,3, 9,15,19,25,30,32,33,39,42,44,47,53,59,60,64,68,70,79,80,82,91,,123,124,201,203,503,508,512

3. if u take the 'airport bus' u can get the ticket and pay at Suvarnaphumm airport (Main airport)

tell them "KHAO SAN" u can stay around Khao san Road then u can walk ( yes walk ) to the grand palace (Thai call's 'SA-NAM-LUANG' ), national museum, King's Palace (Thai call's 'WAT-PRA-KAEW')

You can see lost of famous place around there

the dinner cruise would be nice too (it's start from 900baht(THB) included buffet dinner and show)
